久しぶりの林真理子さんのご本。彼女の「白蓮れんれん」「野ばら」「本をよむ女」「下流の宴」「ぶどうが目にしみる」「Ruriko]など、私は大ファンです。それだから、ある種の郷愁と、期待感を膨らませて、手に取ったこの本。ああ、これだ！林真理子節だ。というのが、１ページ目からの感想。彼女のバブル期への偏愛（私が勝手に思っている）や、彼女独特の性悪的見方、悪女ぶらせるところ、なんか懐かしくもあるけど、私があまり好きでないのも、事実だ。だけど、最後が圧巻ですね。ここで、人間の本質は、いかに！というのに、答えがでる。長年、常に第一線で書いてきた作家というのは、違う。本のページから、圧倒されるようだった。

初めてさくらももこさんのご著書を拝読！確かに、面白い。メチャユーモアのセンスがある。何といっても、テンポ感が良い。あっという間に読んでしまった。ご自身の妊娠・出産のドキュメンタリーなのだが、しっかり物事観察しながら、かなり苦しい場面にも合うのだけど、底抜けに能天気なのが、最高だ。ももこさんのご著書、いろいろ探求します。

「花園」とは、まさに言ったもの!　高校女子達の、現実かつ、宇宙的に非現実な物語。私もカトリックの女子校に中学だけ行ったから、何となく雰囲気がつかめてしまう。その可憐さと、残酷さが。取り澄ました制服に閉じ込められた真実は、外からは絶対見えない。私は、小さいころから、辛いことが結構あって（実は困難に耐え切れず、家出までした経験の持ち主）、そこから逃げるために、自分によく、「ここは死後の世界だよ。前は楽しかったんだけど・・」などと言い聞かせていた。自分であること、自分を生きること、永遠のテーマ。どの作品にも、美しい表現がたんと詰まった三浦さんの小説。この一冊も、どのページにも、詩が舞っている。

９月場所の１５日間は、本当に熱かった。連日、寝不足だったけど、やはりライブで見たくて、夜中一人相撲中継を見ていました。白鵬がいないというのは、まず、こういう事なんだなあ、としみじみ思ったのと、誰が場所前、角番からの全勝優勝を、豪栄道関が成し遂げると予想出来たか、という事。豪栄道関のカッコ良さ、遠藤関の完全復活、隠岐の海関の前半の牽引力、高安関の落ち着いた取り口がもちろん場所中の見どころ。そして近年の相撲協会の「土俵の充実」という目標が、それぞれの取り組みに大きく表れていた場所だったのではないでしょうか。私の念願だった、ロサンゼルス相撲愛好会も発足。そこでも、熱い相撲談義が繰り広げられるでしょう。相撲万歳！
