Program
I am one of piano faculties at Occidental College. Our music department received a Steinway Spirio piano from a generous donor a few years ago. This piano is a technology added acoustic instrument, and we can do a lot of cool things. I will collaborate with Spirio piano to play “Piano 4 Hands” concert.
Five students in Composition Seminar (MUSC 257) by Prof. Celka Ojakangas have written “piano 4 hands pieces” for Spirio piano and I. I recorded the Spirio part in advance and will perform with Spirio piano play back at the concert. It is our first time to use the Spirio piano this way at Occidental College. Please join me at the concert!
