Movie “Tampopo” Again 映画「タンポポ」再び・・

I don’t remember how many times I have watched this movie. I have memorized most of scenes and texts! I think I have written the review before, but I am writing again. Because it is just a GREAT MOVIE! How clever, how witty, how creative, how fun, how professional… Juzo Itami, a director, is truly genius. The movie was released in 1987, but things are still so fresh. Recently a local movie had one day show and of course, I went. Most likely, I was the only Japanese speaking audience, but I was so glad people were fully enjoying the movie. The subtitle does not kill the essence of this movie. If you have not watched “Tampopo” yet, you must see it.
