Movie “A Room with a View”

It is a wonderful comedy with an intellectual approach to love. The story is based on the novel by E.M. Forster. and I have heard the book is more edgy than the movie! Lucy Honeychurch (Helena Bonham-Carter), a young and beautiful Englishwoman, is touring Italy with her older cousin, Charlotte Bartlett (Maggie Smith). Charlotte is her chaperone, good or bad. At a hotel in Florence, Lucy meets the free-spirited George Emerson (Julian Sands). He is handsome and charming. Haha! In a lovely setting in Italy, two youth starts to feel each other. After the tour, Lucy is back in England and decides to settle down with the wealthy, but strait-raced Cecil Vyse (Daniel Day-Lewis). Some are happy with her decision, but some are wondering. When George reappears in her life, Lucy has to find the truth in her heart. The movie is very witty and amusing. I love this kind of comedies. I strongly recommend it!
