2014 Music Camp “Sound Encounters” in Kansas 6/13/14
June 13, 2014
It has been for 15 years teaching and performing at the music camp “Sound Encounters” in Kansas. This year, I added to teach composition, and enjoyed working with students so much besides my usual piano classes. I performed several concerts with different faculties which is always very fun. Today is the last day of the camp, and it is time to go home.
The summer has begun, and many plans are ahead from now on. My biggest plan is to perform several concerts in France in August. I will be performing Gershwin: 3 preludes and Rhapsody in Blue, Copland: Rodeo Suite, Chopin: andante spianato and Grand Polonaise, Granados: Spanish Dances, Liszt’s transcriptions on opera tunes, and more for the other program. I am very excited to be back in France to perform. Prior to France I have several concerts in LA. For the rest of June, we will be moving into the new house!
Have a Wonderful Summer!!
