A Movie “The Armstrong Lie” 12/12/13

It has been for a while since I saw this movie. I have been extremely busy, and I neglected to up-date my web page… Lance Armstrong was my hero when he was winning Tour de France. During Tour de France, the first thing I did every morning was to open the Sport Page of LA Times, and found the race result for each stage (this is unlike of me!). Lance Armstrong lied to the world with his ego. In 2009 Alex Gibney was hired to make a film about Lance Armstrong’s comeback to cycling after his retirement. This project was shelved when the doping scandal erupted, and re-opened after Armstrong’s confession. The movie is constructed sharply and smartly.
