A Movie – Rise of the Planet of the Apes 8/20/11

I was actually surprised that the story of this movie is from the movie I just saw a few weeks ago. “Project Nim” was a documentary film, and it is no doubt that “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” is based on Nim’s story. Please see my review on this movie in the past blog. I understand “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” is pre-sequel to the revived “The Planet of the Apes”. The original was made in 1968. I wonder the professor at Colombia University who did the experiment on Nim got the idea from this original movie of the Planet of the Apes. The Project Nim was to treat chimps as human and to teach them sign languages. ‘

I truly enjoyed “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”. As I said in my bolg on “Project Nim”, this movie tells us a lot. It is touching, moving, and educational. The picture is amazing! And I have heard there was no real monkey in the movie. They move so realistically, and their expression on face is just unbelievable. I am so gald to see both “Project NIm” and this movie. We don’t touch mother nature, and we must be humble.
