A Movie – Queen to Play 4/10/11

It is my hobby to find great movies which are not advertised in public. “Queen to Play” is a stylish, sophisticated, warm-hearted, intelligent, and charming movie, well-played by Kevin Kline and Sandra Bonnaire. The movie is set on the beautiful island of Corsica. The cleaning lady (Bonnaire) found her passion and obsession in the game of chess, and through the games, she gains her confidence, happiness, and purpose in her life. American doctor (Kline) helps her technically and philosophically to win the chess tournament. This quiet and beautiful movie tells us the life’s theme. I like the quote from the movie “If we take a risk, we may loose, and if we don’t take a risk, we don’t have a chance to win.”
