Instrument is Our Friend 2/2/11

While I was practicing Bach’s Goldberg Variations at the church, my friend came over and sat down quietly. I did not notice him for a while. When I finished one movement, I looked around, and saw him sitting in one of pews. We greeted, but he told me he is enjoying music. So I continued to play. Another break point came, and he walked to me. And he told me “Beautiful music… The musicians have a friend to talk to anytime, pointing piano. Two can make nice music…” He was somehow in a great emotion. I often forget how special I am as a musician. I have gone to so many countries and cities because I am a pianist. I have met so many people through the concerts I played. And most importantly I love being a musician.
